Clinics

Junior Clinics are scheduled in each school term over 8 consecutive weeks. The clinics are held on a Thursday from 4.15- 5.15pm and a Saturday Morning from 8.15 - 9.15am at a cost of $80 and are organised in age groups.

Advanced Junior's

Amstel Golf Club has an excellent team of young golfers as a result of our junior program that includes regular tournament play, pennant competition, free tuition and weekly competitions.

As juniors develop their golfing skills they are invited to participate in the Dobson squad from which they graduate to the Hardy squad. Both of these complimentary clinics concentrate on refining technique and instilling sound practice habits.

PUMPGOLF JUNIOR SHOOTOUT

Amstel Golf Course is holding a Pump Junior Golf Shootout in September.  Juniors aged between 6 - 18 years of age can compete for a chance to go into the draw to win a trip to the Sunshine Coast to be part of the Junior Festival of Golf that coincides with PGA Championship.

Junior with or without handicaps can enter into this event. For more information on the PUMP GOLF junior festival of golf please log onto www.pga.org.au

• Time: 1—4pm (Putting competition followed by 9 holes of golf)
• Date: Wednesday 29 September
• Age Groups: 6 to 18 years old
• Cost: $15.50 pp (includes gift pack, trophies and giveaways)
• (Qualifying event for the 2010 Pump Junior Shootout final in Queensland. )

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS JUNIOR SKILLS AND PLAYING TEST

During the school holidays Amstel Golf Club will be holding a one day only skills and playing test.  A great day of fun and entertainment for the kids, and parents are more than welcome to come along and watch.

• Time: 1-4pm (1 hour clinic followed by 9 holes of golf)
• Date: Wednesday 22 September
• Age Groups: 10 to 18 years old
• Cost: $25 pp, Includes, green fees, prizes and participation gift.
